Good Evening Knight Band Parents!
We’ve been watching the weather and it looks like we will have a pretty good window of time between showers to have some fun in the park. It looks like it will start up again about the time we would be traveling back to Pflugerville. In order to try to get back before it starts raining again, we are going to move our departure time back.
We will leave the park at 6pm which should put us back in Pflugerville just before 9pm. We will also post on all of the media when we are on our way back and a closer estimate of the arrival time. (It will be posted on the knightband.com
website, on the KLMS Band Facebook page, on the Remind App, and we will send out an email through Charms).
The only change to the itinerary will be when we leave Six Flags. See summary below:
5:00am Meet at KLMS
8:30am Arrive at Meyerson Symphony Center
10:00am Bands begin performances
12:30pm Arrive at Six Flags
(4pm check in cancelled)
5:30pm Report back to chaperone area to load buses
6:00pm Depart Six Flags
9:00pm Arrive KLMS

HELP!!! Parents if you are not attending the trip, and you would like to help, please consider helping our Percussion Coordinator, Mr. Jyring, unload instruments from the box truck here at Kelly Lane MS after the performance. He will be unloading in the back of KLMS sometime between 3pm-4pm(depending on when he returns from the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas). Please respond to this email if you are interested and we will give you more information.
1. Attention parents: we are on out way home with an ETA of 7:20pm. Please do not park in the red zone by the bandhall doors (that’s where the buses pull in)
2. The Awesome Knight Band continued the tradition (since the school opened) and bought home both the Superior rating trophy and once again won BEST IN CLASS!!! Way to go Knights!!
