Knight Band Alert!
We have been given a very small window to get instruments into the hands of the students! If your child forgot their instrument, they may pick it up tomorrow only! Tuesday, March 24. There are specific guidelines that MUST be adhered to! Please read below carefully:
- Pick up Window: 8:00am-10:00am
- Parents should drive their child to the back of the school.
- Only one student at a time will enter the band hall.
- Only the student may enter the band hall (parents must stay in vehicle).
- Students must pick up instrument/music/binder quickly and check out with a band director as they leave the building.
- Students may not go to any other part of the building.
Trips have been cancelled. Families that have paid will receive a refund as soon as the district offices are up and running again.
Next Thursday and Friday Symphonic Winds, Honor Band, and Wind Ensemble will be attending their annual Concert and Sight Reading Assessment at Connally High School.

1 Major Scale: for every field goal by either team
1 Clark Study (w/ repeat): for each touch down by either team
1 cut from Music Mastery: for each extra point
2 cuts from Music Mastery (consecutive): for every run over 10 yards by either team
2 Clark Studies in a row: for every pass over 15 yards by either team
1 Octave Chromatic Scale: for every sack
2 Octave Chromatic Scale: for every turnover
1 set of lip slurs (octave/register) for every penalty
At the end of each quarter, the sum of scores = # of times you play the hardest part of your UIL music
Hold a Plank for every commercial that is food or alcohol related.
Due to the impending weather, Pflugerville ISD has cancelled ALL district sanctioned events INCLUDING the GattiTown lock-in. It has been rescheduled to Friday, March 27 (same hours).
